We pick you up and we meet all together at our installation in Hersonissos. After a informative briefing & safe driving instructions you will get in your jeep and the adventure begins.
Starting on asphalt to Potamies village where the off road begins, we drive uphill, among rich Cretan flora till we reach our first photo stop with a fantastic view on the Aposelemis Lake and the sunken village of Sfendili. From this point we descent following the lake shore to Avdou village, where we visit an olive oil factory for some tasting as well to be informed how olive oil is made. You will have the chance to walk in the small alleys of this beautiful village and get some time for refreshments at the local Café befour our tour continious.
Our convoy start driving towards the Lassithi Plateau where an exciting off road begins, where a unique panoramic view of the Lassithi Plateau and the north coast of Crete reveals. We will make the second photo stop of the day in order to take the breathtaking view, if we are lucky we will see the Cretan Vultures that is often spotted in flocks in these mountains.
Following our way off road to the foot of the Lassithi Plateau where we drive through various traditional villages on our way to Kastelli village. Here we will have our stone-oven cooked lunch in a traditional taverna.
Refreshed and ready we continue heading North, driving through various small villages till we reach the unknown cave of St. Paraskevi (Skotino Cave). For 30 minutes we explore this important Minoan site and get informed about the history through the years.
The last part of the day drives us all the way to the Cretan sea, at a sandy beach where we will get the chance to swim or enjoy a refreshment at the beach bar before we head back to the hotels.

We will start collecting participants from pick-up points in the morning. Depending on the place of your hotel/apartment the bus drive will differ.
Bus Drive: 2 hours
Driving along the beautiful coast of Crete and the southernmost town of Europe, Ierapetra, we reach Makrigialos. A picturesque village in the South-East of Crete. Here we embark on the wooden pirate boat and start the cruise to Koufonisi.
A totally virgin island, away from any kind of human activity.
The boat sails around the whole island so guests can admire the beautiful coastline and caves surrounding it.
Swiming: In a protected bay, the boat stops for swimming in the crystal clear, turquoise waters.
Lunch: Meal and drinks are served on board.
Then the boat approaches the caves of Koufonisiso all participants can take photos of the unique scenery
The next stop is one of the 36 exotic beaches of the island, where guest have plenty of time to relax and explore the hills and different bays.
Umbrellas can be rented on board.
Arrival back to out starting point.
Embarkation in the buses and drive back to the hotels where we gathered participants in the morning.
Depending on traffic and on the pick-up places of each one, the time of journey back to the hotel will differ.
